Quinta do Rio Alva and Glamping Lodges

For cycling enthusiasts, our Quinta is a stone's throw away from the longest Ecopista in Portugal, and definately the most beautiful. The cycling path is 49km long, and the landscape remains very beautiful, with views of mountains and valleys covered with oaks, cork oaks and chestnut trees, but also some vineyards, cultivated land and small villages. In the distance the mountains of the Serra do Caramulo (in the north) and the Serra da Estrela (in the south) are always present.

The lovely people at www.ecopista-portugal.com offer bike rentals, trips and tours.

For those that have the outdoor life at heart, there is always something to do around the Quinta.

Numerous walking and running trails of varying difficulty can be found in the area - take a look at our information pack.

Take a SUP, or one of our canoes and paddle in the Rio Alva from the river beach.

Fishing? Visit Carpodromo, a 10-minute drive away.

We have also teamed up with Trans Serrano - Aventura, a local company that organise various outdoor activities ranging from canyoning, trekking, canoeing, paintball, 4x4 jeep tours in our beautiful surroundings around the Quinta.

They are offering our guests a 10% discount on all their activities.

You can check out their website on https://www.transserrano.com/ to view all their activities.
